Project Overview
This project is a 5 kW solar power system installed in Shiraaqle, Hargeisa, to provide reliable electricity and reduce dependence on the grid. The system uses 6 solar panels feeding a 5 kW inverter and a 5 kWh wall-mounted lithium battery to power essential household or small business loads. The goal was to give the client stable power during outages and lower monthly energy costs with clean solar energy.
System in Simple Terms
The 6 solar panels generate DC power, which is converted by the 5 kW inverter into usable AC electricity for lights, sockets, and appliances. Extra energy charges the 5 kWh battery, which then keeps key loads running when the grid fails or at night, depending on the setup. This compact system is sized for essential loads, giving the user more control over their energy and protection from blackouts.
